Summer Bishil

 Summer Yasmine Bishil, born July 17, 1988 was an American actress. Her first big break came when she was starring as Jasira in 2007's film Towelhead and received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. She was in a handful of roles in TV movies and series, including The Last Airbender (2010), 90210 (2011) and Lucky 7 (2013). From 2015 to 2020, she starred in the Syfy the fantasy drama The Magicians as Margo Hanson. The September 11 terrorist attacks caused her family to go back home to the United States. She relocated to San Diego with her family, where she attended the regular high school for a week. The school didn't want to welcome her returning due to the tensions within the U.S. after 9/11. She said it was difficult for her to return home. On my first day of school, I was called"a "whore" and someone said they believed that my father had funded terrorist activities. I was certain that no one was ever going to like me there. The first time I was there, I had panic attacks.
